As a follow up to our introduce yourself event. I wanted to share 5 simple tips to unleash your warrior spirit and join our newly created Hall of Warriors. I’m truly glad we opened our doors to meet a lot of new friends and powerful warriors with different ways of life. I took the time to read their blogs and find a couple of tips to offer you today. Here we go!

Deep within yourself, you will find your warrior spirit, it grants you the focus of your life. Seek the warrior spirit inside yourself. Photo by Reed George.
Know yourself
Each of the warriors mentioned in my previous post took the time to find themselves. To understand who they were and why they see life the way they do. This was not an overnight process, but it starts small, one simple step at a time.
To know yourself you need to start accepting all your strengths and your weakness too, don’t be afraid of what you can find inside yourself. Nobody is perfect, but we can improve. By accepting yourself the way you are, you open the door to a huge amount of beautiful experiences. Both to improve your life and to show you new parts of the world that you may have not seen.
Be honest to yourself and you will soon find that something moves inside you. That is your warrior spirit.
Be true to yourself
There is no need to hide who you are, after all you are taking the time to find out and accept yourself. There is no need to hide your warrior spirit. By showing the world your true colors, you will unlock a myriad of possibilities. Your journey will become a lot more interesting and powerful if you do.
The warriors that raised their hands when we open the door are true to themselves. Some are truly wise, relaxed and have a deep spiritual connection. Some others are truly lively and a bit crazy. Some are serious about the ways they handle themselves. But none is trying to fake anything! They are in a particular way and I truly appreciate them with all their colors, skills and their particular opinions.
Help others
A true warrior knows that her story affects the rest of the world. Your warrior spirit knows this, and it tries hard to show you. When you help someone else you grow as a warrior, not because of the size of the action, but because you are being generous. Even a little action can grant you a great and powerful relationship.
All of the warriors in the previous post help others. From business to personal development to traffic generation to spiritual development to know the best ways to party to creativity to mad science skills. All of them offer something valuable to the world. They have their own style and ways to teach, but they all want to help those around them one way or another. They make the world a little better with their daily actions.
Listen to the calling
I have talked about those little voices that are trying to knock you down. But there is a stronger voice inside you, one that comes straight from your warrior spirit. That voice is constant, it never fades. It is the calling.
I don’t know what your calling is, I can only listen to my own calling. You have to trust me on this one, once you listen to your calling, you have a reason to wake up everyday and give the best in you to reach your dreams.
Today, sit for a moment all by yourself, close your eyes and listen to your thoughts, let them fill you for a minute and let them go, once your mind is at peace, you will start hearing your calling, it’s a subtle but powerful voice that tell you what you want to do with your life. It’s so powerful and compelling that you can’t just stop it.
Everyone in the hall of warriors have listened to their calling and are now working towards it. Their paths are truly different and it’s almost a miracle that all of them came together in one spot. You can check their sites and see it for yourself. They write because they want to do it. They create because that gets them closer to fulfilling their calling. And there is nothing that can stop them.
Take action
Don’t wait until tomorrow to take the steps towards your dreams. In fact don’t wait for anything. Take action now!
Working towards your dreams is not easy, and there are a lot of adventures to have during your journey. But if you don’t start it, you will never find out how beautiful your journey can be. Take one step, it doesn’t matter if it’s small. Even baby steps can become a whole marathon if you constantly move forward.
The beautiful group that gathered in the intro post took action, they commented here and they won not only a small biography written by yours truly, they opened themselves to make new connections, to meet more warriors and to make a stronger and powerful group. They took the opportunity, they took the risk, they took action!
Bonus tip: Be grateful and unlock your warrior spirit
I have said it before, being grateful is one of the biggest powers that your warrior spirit can give you. All the warriors were grateful for the opportunity, they all showed their appreciation in each and every comment. Gratitude is truly the mark of a true warrior.
That’s why I want to thank you. Not only to the wonderful hall of warriors, that decided to spend a little bit of their time here at Enso Journey and gave me the chance to meet each and all of you. But to my readers, those that didn’t raise their hands, I value you too, because I write for you too. Thank you for reading Enso Journey!

Alejandro,
Thank you for your deeply affirming post, and your huge generosity of spirit. I am so honored to have been included in your list of warriors, although I never really think of myself in that context!
I’ve enjoyed reading through your website and and am anticipating the opportunity to witness great things unfold as you continue!
Hi Anne!
It’s an honor to have you as a friend, as I said I wanted to thank you all for being so awesome with me. Kym and I ware working hard to move Enso forward. But part of our mission is to help our friends grow as well, If we all grow as a community we can reach more and our helpful messages can reach more souls.
And of course you are a warrior, you fight for a good cause and you have a strong spirit, I’m truly happy to have you as a friend!

Best advice here, Take Action. Nothing can be done if you plan masterfully but fail to take action. It’s a missed opportunity at either failure or immense success.
I agree with you Josh. It doesn’t matter if you have created a perfect plan, if you never take action you will never see if it was indeed perfect. That’s why now I plan a lot less, in fact I try to keep myself very flexible about what I’m doing, that way I keep taking action even if the original plan failed.
Thanks for your comment!

Hey Alex, just found this post. Awesome. All 5 are great. The one that stands out for me is “Listen to the calling”. So often I’ve heard the voice and brushed it off with excuses, rationalizations, a pipe dream, or just nonsense. I have also found those vital moments of hearing come at the most odd times. The challenge in hearing it is an awareness, and a desire, that allows you to listen through the monkey chatter. Then the “leap of faith” in trusting it.
Great post Alex.
Yo Alex,
Great post man. It is hard to focus on just one of the 5 tips. I’m going to go with “Be true to yourself”.
Over the past few months I have realized that the ultimate USP is authenticity. The only way I can truly provide a unique perspective and approach in this lovely universe is to simply be myself. No one can be me. Only I can do that.
I guess the challenge is really figuring out who I am. Unfortunately this isn’t a simple add up a few numbers and I magically know thyself. I think it takes time, experience, humility, patience, and darn hard work.
I read a post from Sandi Amorim that really got me thinking about my values. I am hard at work trying to identify those now. I think finding my core values will really give me a much better understanding to who I am.
Also, I have to say I think that gratitude is the key to all happiness. If we can have gratitude, it opens all the doors to appreciate everything we experience.
Final Note: When I get back to America, I am going to get some Power bars and send them to you. I am totally serious!
But it will be a while (hopefully a long while).
