A letter of empowerment to you, a warrior, a friend

As I sit here, my brain is flooded with universal thoughts about life and living. Music fills my ears and touches my heart. My mind races and wishes it could slow down.

Deep breath, one, two, three. Again.

Have you ever stared at the ceiling in your bedroom as you wish for sleep to come? Every question demanding an answer. Every problem demanding a solution. But there are no answers, and there is no one to ask.

Let me tell you this.

Life is worth living. Life is all we have. Those questions you ask are worth asking, but they are only meant to inspire you, not bring you down.

Dear friend, fight for what you love. Be the difference. Dare to change the world and do wonderful things. Allow yourself to be free from mental slavery. Allow happiness into your life.

We tend to overcomplicate things. Often, we dwell on things that will not matter tomorrow. But what would happen if we could simply let go?

We talk about living in the here and now, about taking action and doing the right thing. It only takes a small movement to catch on to make monumental changes. The time truly is now.

I have not lived long enough to say much, but I am not waiting until I can say “it’s too late”, and wash my hands guilt free. Get me? Live as if you are 100 years old and have no time to lose.

Love hard and forgive. The pain of life is just as beautiful as everything else. We just fail to see it because we run away from pain. Once you let go of the fear of pain, you will be free to do what makes you happy.

If today is not the day, then when? When will you find the time to be happy? Free? At peace?

Don’t wait until you are too old to remember your name to try to find those answers you ask now. Today is the day.

Have you ever wondered where your life is going? Why you are doing the things you are doing? Have you ever felt lost? Unsure of what you want in life? Let me tell you this. The answers are already there, inside. Everything you’ve always wanted to know is there, deep inside. Some people call it your soul; others call it your unconscious, your inner self. Call it what you will, but believe that you have it. And you will find it.

Be anxious about doing the things you love, but also be patient. Remember that the process is as important as the final result. Don’t rush through life. Yes, live to the fullest, but don’t wish your life away.

If you really want something, you will go out and get it. Simple as that… Just don’t waste your time wishing you had something else; something better. Love who you are, and love what you have, tangible and not, and if your soul itches for something more, go out and get it. Work hard for it; don’t let others live your life for you. That is what I call cheating.

Life is wonderful, and so are you. Simply because you are also a part of life. The world is so amazing it overwhelms me to think about it. There is so much to see, so much to do, and it is all waiting for you to get up and start living. Your life is already started, the clock will not stop for you, and you must move with it and love every second that comes and goes.

Sitting here thinking of all the wonderful people that exist, and knowing that each day the world becomes a better place. Remember, it only takes one small step at a time. Make an impact, be worthy of this world, this planet, this universe. Be powerful. Be a warrior.

Whoever you are, wherever you may be, you are worth it. Everything you have become, everything you will one day be, every single iota of your existence is worth it. Accept that truth. Accept yourself. Allow yourself to grow.

Think of yourself and how truly amazing you are. How you started as a living thing in this world, how you grew. Everything you had to overcome to simply be born. You truly are special my friend. Don’t let anyone fool you into thinking otherwise.

Once you understand how special you are the world will be limitless. I don’t mean let your ego grow and take over you. I mean that you will understand true humbleness. You will know that everyone has a journey they must follow and everyone must earn the right to be called a true warrior.

Yes, life is beautiful. Life is anything you make it. Life can be hard, or easy. Life can be simple, or complex. The wonderful thing about being human is that we have the power to decide how we want to live our life. We have the capability to grow, or dry out. And we have the option to choose which way we want to go.

Even more wonderful, if we make a choice we don’t like, we have the option to redeem ourselves and try again. How amazing is that?! If you have fallen, as I and many others, then you know that you can stay down or you can get up. Choose the latter one. Get up!

Being alive, in this planet, at this moment, being a part of this universe where everything is unfolding as it should, second after second. It is the best thing that could ever happen to any of us. Why waste it?
